Overview
Accops Nano is a revolutionary mode of access made for BYOD devices that provides secure and compliant remote access to business applications and virtual desktop infrastructure, enabling instant and secure work from home. The product helps save huge expenses that organizations otherwise would incur in delivering corporate-owned or rented laptops to end users.
Accops Nano is a customized and hardened Linux-based live OS that is delivered in a simple USB drive. Users will just have to plug in the pre-configured USB drive containing the OS and reboot to get started. It can be used on any personal device to boot it into a secure read-only OS that is free from any keylogger or malware potentially residing in a user’s device.
Accops Nano provides a secure container in the user device and enables access to internal corporate applications delivered over Accops HySecure Access Gateway and Virtual Applications & Virtual Desktops delivered over Accops HyWorks. With Accops Nano, employees, third party vendors or contract employees can get instant secure access to internal applications using any device, and work the way they would do while being in office.
The out-of-the-box security features block Internet and prevent data storage into the local hard drive or any other USB drive while using Accops Nano. Though users can do copy-paste, they cannot send it out as Internet and local storage are blocked. On re-boot, the data stored in the Live OS is wiped out. Coupled with Accops Identity and Access Management solution, it can also enable multi-factor authentication as well as device fingerprint controls to prevent unauthorized access and use.
